Work With Me
Why agencies hire me

1. I Get the Culture
Most white-label partners are one or the other: they come from corporate and managed an agency who did all the things, or they are culturally clueless.

I am a first-gen Chinese American from East LA. I grew up in the SGV, going to a state school and paid for undergrad by working at Disneyland as a ride operator. I have an MBA in Marketing & Strategy and an MA in Women's Studies from Claremont Graduate University. I've worked in agencies and in-house, doing the actual work. I've spent the last two and a half years at LEEAF serving 250+ BIPOC-owned small businesses across LA County. I know what it's like when your parents don't speak English and you're trying to navigate systems that weren't built for you.

I'm not going to create tone-deaf content.
2. I've Done This 200+ Times, Not Twice
I have systems. Templates. Frameworks. A content calendar skeleton I can customize in 20 minutes. When you say "client needs to go live in 7 days," I already know exactly how because I've done it 200 times.

-
200+ small businesses through LEEAF
-
150+ entrepreneurs through Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (where I taught marketing as faculty)
-
400+ entrepreneurs and creatives
-
Currently managing a 12-person team at LEEAF
3. This Work Matters To Me
I am mission-aligned. My throughline is education & equity - anything to help others build generational wealth.

I consider the impact of our decisions on my network, clients, suppliers, community, and the environment.

-
Started my first career at Planned Parenthood LA and Women's Foundation of California fighting for reproductive rights and women's economic security when it was hardest
-
Consulted with eco-conscious startups and health-related small businesses
-
Managed cause-related influencers and content creators for sustainable and beauty brands
-
Taught entertainment industry creatives ways to pivot their expertise into a new income stream
-
I care about helping people build businesses that support their families, communities, and the economy
If your clients are advocacy groups, political campaigns, or social justice orgs: I understand the stakes. I understand that wins and losses actually matter to real people's lives.

If your clients are small businesses: I understand tight budgets. I will also be realistic with your team about what can be done with dollars and what can be done with fairydust. I meet people where they are. I've worked with Chinatown shop owners who don't speak English and Lincoln Heights entrepreneurs advocating for their community against ICE.
4. I Can Handle Multiple Pieces
Most specialists do ONE thing. Social media person who doesn't understand SEO. Web designer who can't write copy. Ads specialist who doesn't understand organic.

I do the full stack because I've done all of these myself.

-
Strategy & execution
-
Web design/SEO & social media & Meta ads
-
Content creation & email & analytics & reporting
-
Teaching & training
-
Consulting & actually doing the work
5. I Move Fast Without Cutting Corners
I build systems to deliver:

-
Websites in days, not months
-
Social media strategies in a week
-
Content calendars that don't look rushed

I'm operational.
6. I've Built For Scale
I've managed million-dollar brands. I know what professional-level work looks like.

But I also know how to translate that to $2,000 small business budgets. I don't make a Chinatown bakery feel bad because they can't afford a Hallmark Channel-level campaign. I meet them where they are and we make it work.
