The Long Bio

Helping small businesses market smarter, grow stronger, and make a lasting impact.

My North Star

My mission is to amplify the voices, values, and impact of micro and small business owners, especially those in underserved and underrepresented communities. If you look at the economy at a macro level, even a state level, small businesses drive community. I’m here to help emerging entrepreneurs and small business owners get on a path to increase generational wealth and positive impact to our local economies. By mobilizing resources and championing small business owners, we can drive meaningful, positive progress.

My Story

My own journey began in nonprofit development, raising funds and building relationships for organizations that supported women and girls, including The Women’s Foundation of California and Planned Parenthood Los Angeles. I went on to earn a dual MBA in Marketing & Strategy and MA in Applied Women’s Studies from Claremont Graduate University - the first graduate student to complete that unique combination of degrees, the founder of the Women in Leadership Association, and started a chapter of Net Impact.

Along the way, I discovered my passion for marketing as a way to help business owners share their stories, connect with the right audiences, and grow in ways that align with their values. With 17+ years of digital marketing experience - from agency to in-house to freelance - and 8 years in nonprofit development work, I now channel that expertise into supporting small business owners and community organizations; in particular, second-career or third-career women who seek to leave the corporate world to get the flexibility they need in their lives.

What I Do Now

Today, I work as a digital marketing consultant, fractional marketing director, and educator, helping overwhelmed, overworked small business owners:

  1. Simplify their marketing

  2. Grow their audience

  3. Increase revenue in a sustainable, values-aligned way

I do this through consulting, marketing audits, content strategy intensives, and live and recorded workshops. I also collaborate with community organizations, workforce development programs, and educational institutions to teach digital marketing and business fundamentals in a practical, inclusive way.

My mission is simple: mobilize resources, share knowledge, and champion small business owners so they can increase generational wealth, expand their impact, and strengthen local economies.

My Values in Action

  1. Championing Small Businesses – I’m deeply committed to supporting micro and small businesses, with a special focus on women-of-color-owned businesses.

  2. Community Impact – As a board member for the SheReady Foundation, I work to bring awareness and resources to foster youth and support those aging out of the foster care system.

  3. Quality Over Quantity – Strategic, thoughtful marketing always beats cranking out content just to fill space.

  4. Many Paths to Success – I believe in flexibility, creativity, and respecting different ways of building a thriving business.

  5. Ease Over Hustle – I value realistic work plans, collaboration over competition, and authentic connection over empty trends.

  6. Ethical Marketing – I prioritize transparency, trust, and honesty in all client relationships and marketing strategies.
